The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is a leading space research organization that is involved in space technology development and application to national activities.
In 1969, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) was established to institutionalize India’s space program. In June 1972, the Indian government established the Space Commission and Department of Space (DOS). Indian space programme has the main goal of developing satellites, payloads, launch vehicles and sounding rockets. It also aims to develop ground systems that allow for advanced technology to be applied to real-world problems.
ISRO held an entrance exam for Scientist Engineer ‘SC” for Engineering graduates.
