Apply for an Alien Passport in Denmark
- Fill out the application Form PA1.
- Fill out the application form in person to Denmark Immigration Services’ Citizen Service. If you are not in from the Greater Copenhagen area, you could submit your application at your nearby police station.
- Bring a picture.
- Documents to prove identity.
- The application fees must be paid.
Notice:If you were unable to obtain a passport in the country you are a citizen of, you will need to obtain a letter from the Embassy. This is only for people who are not recognised as refugees in Denmark.

What are all the Eligibility
- foreign nationals with an Danish residence permit
- Foreigners have been acknowledged as stateless in accordance to the United Nations Convention of 28 September 1954 regarding the rights of individuals who are stateless.
- foreign nationals who have the status of refugee (protected standing) in accordance with the Danish Aliens Act, section 7(2) or section 8(2)
- foreign nationals granted foreign nationals who have been granted a Danish residence permit in accordance with section 8(3) of the Danish Aliens Act, section 8(3)
- Child under the age of 18 whose parents are a the status of refugees in Denmark
- children who are able to obtain the right to reside as asylum seeker without a parent
