How To Apply for Certificate of Military Service In Belgium
To apply for military service as a minor who are minor military candidates, visit the Militia Service of the City Brussels with either his parents with whom he lives or by a third party with parental authority over the applicant, as well as all the necessary documents.

- Included in the request form
- The child must be accompanied by the parents with whom he lives (provided with the ID document) or by the third person who exercises authority of the parent (provided with an ID card and the document confirming the parental authority).

From the 1st of January, 2006 the certificates of military service not required in the process of applying for jobs. But, a certification of service in the military can be required, for instance, to apply for pension.
