How To Apply for Citizenship In Armenia
- If the applicant is located in Armenia and is in Armenia, visit Armenia’s Passport and Visa Department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia to apply for citizenship. If the applicant is in a different country the applicant has to make an application to a diplomatic representative or consular service within Armenia. Republic of Armenia.
- Send the required documents or Ministry of Foreign Affairs or to the Agency of National Security to determine its findings.
- It is the Passport and Visa Department of the Police will forward these documents to Administration of the President of the Republic of Armenia.
- The applicant will receive an email confirming that the documents have been sent at the Administration of the President.
- It is expected that the Passport and Visa Department will receive the Decree from the president giving the citizenship.
- The applicant will receive an email to familiarize themselves to the Presidential Decree and to participate in the Oath ceremony.
- According to Armenian law, the citizen is granted the passport that is issued by the RA.
