The person applying for Commercial Driver License for Heavy and Medium vehicles such as tourist buses, as well as school busses must

- Have held the Ordinary Driving License for at least three years.
- have an education qualification that is at least Class VIII or equivalent or equivalent qualification Monastic Institutes and produce original academic certificate to prove it;
- Fill in the application form that is prescribed;
- Have achieved the minimum pass score on the driving test selection criteria for the highway Drive Test set in the Evaluation Form for the Light Vehicle Driving Test as prescribed by the RSTA;
- Make a copy of the most recent passport size photo;
