  1. To obtain the card, applicants must visit the Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) in order to complete the following steps:
    1. Issue of Token
    2. Thumb and Signatures
    3. Data Acquisition through DEO
    4. Form Printing
    5. Attestation & Form Submission
  2. The data gathered will be transferred into NADRA Data Warehouse. NADRA Data Warehouse where it will be subjected to clearing and verification procedures.
  3. Printing and the production for the cards.
  4. The delivery of CNIC to NSRC.

Required Documents For Apply for Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)  

  • Birth Certificate or
  • Old NICs
  • Certificate of Matriculation Certificate or
  • CNICs of blood relatives
  • Certificate of citizenship issued by the MOI

Note:

  • There are no documents required from applicants who are not literate to be able to verify their age for the first time.
  • Residents of FATA/PATA can only be treated at their home DAUs and their documents will be certified by the concerned PA/APA.

Eligibility

The applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Citizen of Pakistan
  • at least 18 years old

Fees

CNIC Cards:

  • Normal: 200
  • Urgent: 300

Processing Time

  • Normal: 30 days
  • Need to act: 15 days
  • SpeedTrack: 15 Days (Queue Priority at NSRC’s for processing immediately)
