  1. Application In Person

  1. To apply to apply for an application for the Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL) You must go to the Mines and Geology Division under the Ministry of Transport and Mining. You can reach MGD via this link: Mines and Geology Division (MGD) through here: Link
  2. Download the application form from the register at the Mines and Geology Division in person or download it you download it from the MGD website using the following link: Link you can also download the application form directly from the following link: Link
  3. Complete the application in a timely manner and attach the necessary documents as specified under the “Required Documents” section below.
  4. Go to MGD office MGD office and fill out an application to be verified through MGD registry service section. MGD registry service department.
  5. The official will examine the application to ensure accuracy and to determine if the location the application is in fact available and isn’t already protected by an EPL
  6. After verification, submit your application and the required fee at the accounting clerk who will issue a receipt and suggests you to file your an application to the Registrar.
  7. Completely submit the applications to the registration officer. He will record the application into the Prospecting License Register. The registrar they will issue a number the application. Afterwards, the registrar will prepare an appropriate file to you with regards to the application.
  8. The dossier is then submitted on to the Director of Mines to be recommended by the Commissioner of Mines.
  9. As per the direction of the Commissioner The Commissioner’s instructions, along with the specifics of the application are ready to be published in the daily paper and the Gazette at your expense.
  10. After three weeks following the date of announcement of the notice in the Gazette Three copies of your license will be delivered by the Commissioner to the Permanent Secretary to be reviewed by him and submitted to the Minister to be approved and after that, the license will be granted to you.
  11. Within one week from the date of approval of the license, you have to submit an application to the commissioner with a letter of Guarantee or a payment that is twenty-thousand dollars on the form prescribed from the GMD. The Guarantee will be used to pay the costs of damages to property or the elimination of unsafe conditions caused by prospecting.

  1. In order to obtain the Export Health Certificate for Dogs, Cats, and Birds, you need to visit the Veterinary Service Division (VSD) within the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MOA). You can find the VSD contact information in the “Office Locations and Contacts” section below.
  2. Be sure to notify to the VSD of your intentions to export the horses or other animals in writing via an email at vsdpermits@gmail.com or by fax the information to (876) 977-0885.
  3. The VSD will provide you with the regulations for export for the animal you plan to export through the importing country. We will then ask that you confine the animal to a quarantine facility.
  4. Choose a quarantine area and notify that VSD about the place. the VSD will then approve the chosen place or choose a different site to quarantine the animal being exported.
  5. The VSD will observe the treatment of the animal during the quarantine time and conduct an inspection of the animal following the expiration of quarantine . They will also prepare an inspection report.
  6. In the event that the animal’s condition is found to be healthy and the import conditions are met, the quarantine is complete which means you’ll be informed by the VSD However, should the animal not be declared to be healthy, or is not in compliance with requirements for import, additional quarantine will be needed by the VSD
  7. After a successful quarantine and subsequent registration for the certificate of export for the animal or horse at the VSD

Application In Person

  1. To apply to apply for an application for the Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL) You must go to the Mines and Geology Division under the Ministry of Transport and Mining. You can reach MGD via this link: Mines and Geology Division (MGD) through here: Link
  2. Download the application form from the register at the Mines and Geology Division in person or download it you download it from the MGD website using the following link: Link you can also download the application form directly from the following link: Link
  3. Complete the application in a timely manner and attach the necessary documents as specified under the “Required Documents” section below.
  4. Go to MGD office MGD office and fill out an application to be verified through MGD registry service section. MGD registry service department.
  5. The official will examine the application to ensure accuracy and to determine if the location the application is in fact available and isn’t already protected by an EPL
  6. After verification, submit your application and the required fee at the accounting clerk who will issue a receipt and suggests you to file your an application to the Registrar.
  7. Completely submit the applications to the registration officer. He will record the application into the Prospecting License Register. The registrar they will issue a number the application. Afterwards, the registrar will prepare an appropriate file to you with regards to the application.
  8. The dossier is then submitted on to the Director of Mines to be recommended by the Commissioner of Mines.
  9. As per the direction of the Commissioner The Commissioner’s instructions, along with the specifics of the application are ready to be published in the daily paper and the Gazette at your expense.
  10. After three weeks following the date of announcement of the notice in the Gazette Three copies of your license will be delivered by the Commissioner to the Permanent Secretary to be reviewed by him and submitted to the Minister to be approved and after that, the license will be granted to you.
  11. Within one week from the date of approval of the license, you have to submit an application to the commissioner with a letter of Guarantee or a payment that is twenty-thousand dollars on the form prescribed from the GMD. The Guarantee will be used to pay the costs of damages to property or the elimination of unsafe conditions caused by prospecting.

Application In Person

  1. In order to obtain the Export Health Certificate for Dogs, Cats, and Birds, you need to visit the Veterinary Service Division (VSD) within the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MOA). You can find the VSD contact information in the “Office Locations and Contacts” section below.
  2. Be sure to notify to the VSD of your intentions to export the horses or other animals in writing via an email at vsdpermits@gmail.com or by fax the information to (876) 977-0885.
  3. The VSD will provide you with the regulations for export for the animal you plan to export through the importing country. We will then ask that you confine the animal to a quarantine facility.
  4. Choose a quarantine area and notify that VSD about the place. the VSD will then approve the chosen place or choose a different site to quarantine the animal being exported.
  5. The VSD will observe the treatment of the animal during the quarantine time and conduct an inspection of the animal following the expiration of quarantine . They will also prepare an inspection report.
  6. In the event that the animal’s condition is found to be healthy and the import conditions are met, the quarantine is complete which means you’ll be informed by the VSD However, should the animal not be declared to be healthy, or is not in compliance with requirements for import, additional quarantine will be needed by the VSD
  7. After a successful quarantine and subsequent registration for the certificate of export for the animal or horse at the VSD

  9. The first step is to obtain all necessary documents and certificates of the animal you want to export, such as the import permission from the country you are importing to.

In order to apply to be eligible for Employment Injury Disablement benefit under the National Insurance Scheme (NIS) You must send your applications to NIS office of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MLSS). You can find the NIS contact information under the “Offices and Contact” section further down.

Application In Person

  1. To apply to apply for an application for the Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL) You must go to the Mines and Geology Division under the Ministry of Transport and Mining. You can reach MGD via this link: Mines and Geology Division (MGD) through here: Link
  2. Download the application form from the register at the Mines and Geology Division in person or download it you download it from the MGD website using the following link: Link you can also download the application form directly from the following link: Link
  3. Complete the application in a timely manner and attach the necessary documents as specified under the “Required Documents” section below.
  4. Go to MGD office MGD office and fill out an application to be verified through MGD registry service section. MGD registry service department.
  5. The official will examine the application to ensure accuracy and to determine if the location the application is in fact available and isn’t already protected by an EPL
  6. After verification, submit your application and the required fee at the accounting clerk who will issue a receipt and suggests you to file your an application to the Registrar.
  7. Completely submit the applications to the registration officer. He will record the application into the Prospecting License Register. The registrar they will issue a number the application. Afterwards, the registrar will prepare an appropriate file to you with regards to the application.
  8. The dossier is then submitted on to the Director of Mines to be recommended by the Commissioner of Mines.
  9. As per the direction of the Commissioner The Commissioner’s instructions, along with the specifics of the application are ready to be published in the daily paper and the Gazette at your expense.
  10. After three weeks following the date of announcement of the notice in the Gazette Three copies of your license will be delivered by the Commissioner to the Permanent Secretary to be reviewed by him and submitted to the Minister to be approved and after that, the license will be granted to you.
  11. Within one week from the date of approval of the license, you have to submit an application to the commissioner with a letter of Guarantee or a payment that is twenty-thousand dollars on the form prescribed from the GMD. The Guarantee will be used to pay the costs of damages to property or the elimination of unsafe conditions caused by prospecting.

Application In Person

  1. In order to obtain the Export Health Certificate for Dogs, Cats, and Birds, you need to visit the Veterinary Service Division (VSD) within the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MOA). You can find the VSD contact information in the “Office Locations and Contacts” section below.
  2. Be sure to notify to the VSD of your intentions to export the horses or other animals in writing via an email at vsdpermits@gmail.com or by fax the information to (876) 977-0885.
  3. The VSD will provide you with the regulations for export for the animal you plan to export through the importing country. We will then ask that you confine the animal to a quarantine facility.
  4. Choose a quarantine area and notify that VSD about the place. the VSD will then approve the chosen place or choose a different site to quarantine the animal being exported.
  5. The VSD will observe the treatment of the animal during the quarantine time and conduct an inspection of the animal following the expiration of quarantine . They will also prepare an inspection report.
  6. In the event that the animal’s condition is found to be healthy and the import conditions are met, the quarantine is complete which means you’ll be informed by the VSD However, should the animal not be declared to be healthy, or is not in compliance with requirements for import, additional quarantine will be needed by the VSD
  7. After a successful quarantine and subsequent registration for the certificate of export for the animal or horse at the VSD
  8. Request the application form to apply to obtain an export health certificate from the MOA’s Office or download it directly from their website: Link (please look up “Application for Export Health Certificate” to find the form) You could also obtain the forms directly from this hyperlink: Link
  9. The first step is to obtain all necessary documents and certificates of the animal you want to export, such as the import permission from the country you are importing to.
  10. Fill out the application form and attach the necessary documents mentioned within the “Required Documents” section to it.
  11. Submit the completed application and the completed application to The Permit Office, Veterinary Services Division (VSD) 193 Old Hope Road, in person, or scan and email to the followingaddress: email: vsdpermits@gmail.com or sent by fax at (876) 977-0885. Note that information for the TRN is required.
  12. Once you have submitted your application after receipt, the VSD will verify the application along with the supporting documents to determine whether your application is in compliance with the standard.
  13. If the document is in error If the documentation is not valid, the VSD will notify you on what to do to meet the standard and, if your application is valid and valid, you will be issued a payment advisory note. VSD will issue an advisory note on payment for the certificate. You are required to pay the fee.
  14. The application fee for the health certificate for export through the VSD cashier using cash, debit, the company’s cheque or credit card or manager’s check, and get the receipt for payment
  15. After payment, an Export health certification will be will be issued to you.

Instructions

  • A request for an Export Health Certificate must be filled out and sent to the VSD for approval to schedule an appointment for inspection prior to export. A scheduled appointment for inspections to be conducted by the veterinarian of the government on all animals that live is required within 48 hours of departure. Animals for export must be present at the scheduled appointment, along with any supporting veterinary medical documents from a private veterinarian licensed to practice medical veterinary in Jamaica.

Procedure

Application In Person

  1. To apply for an Export Health Certificate and export license for fisheries products you must visit the Veterinary Service Division (VSD) within the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MOA). Check out the VSD contact information under the “Office Locations and Contacts” section further down.
  2. First, notify VSD VSD of your intent to export your products by writing to the email: vsdpermits@gmail.comor faxed to (876) 977-0885.
  3. When you receive your intention letter after receipt, the VSD will check if your facility is registered. If there isn’t then you will be required to be registered for your facility.
  4. The VSD will notify you of the requirements to export for the items you want to export to the import country. The VSD will then ask you to submit your product’s batches to the VSD lab for testing.
  5. All batches are tested, and should they fail, you’ll receive the test results by a written notice sent by VSD and, if the items are able to pass the test then you will be notified via the VSD and must proceed with the application process for the health certificate.

  7. Begin by obtaining all necessary documents and certificates of the product you plan to export, which includes the import permit issued by the country you are importing from.
  8. Complete the application and attach all supporting documents mentioned within the “Required Documents” section. Attach them to the form.

  13. After payment, an Export health certification will then be prepared and given to you together with the export licence
