How To Apply for Passport In Chile

  • Find an authorized office of the Civil Registry.
  • Go to one of the modules for service and ask for your passport.
  • Follow the guidelines by or the officer(s) and then cancel the value of the document.
  • Within six days, hbilas has to visit the same office that made the request to revoke his passport, along with the evidence.

Documents Required Apply for Passport

for those older than 18 years old:

  • Identity card valid and current

for applicants less than 18 years old:

  • Valid identity card in good condition
  • affidavit single parent
  • an official notarized travel authorization signed by both parents (if you are traveling on your own)
  • notarized permission by the parent that isn’t traveling
  • If either or both parents are reside in another country, their permission must be granted prior to that the Chilean Consulate located in your country. Then, it must be authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Chile.
  • If the presenter is granted custody of the child as a result of an order of a judge and must show an official duplicate of the judgement in the event that she is not listed on the of the subinscrita birth registry.
