Here’s how to apply for a license to drive in the Isle of man:

- Give all the information required:
- The full name of the sole trader. If a firm and each partner’s name in full. If a Corporation Name of the company and the Secretary of the Company.

It is illegal to keep more than 10 litres or gasoline without a permit in the Isle of man
If you are a sole trader, company or firm, you’ll need to apply for a license.
The rule is applicable wherever gasoline is stored, which includes:
- at home, or in your garage, or in
- in the course of a workshop
- at motorsport events
Fees
Cost of licence
- To store petroleum spirit in a limit of the amount of 2,500 litres: Licence price the sum of Ps45 (up up to 12 months)
- To ensure that petroleum spirit is kept in quantities that exceed 2500 litres, but not more than the 50,000 litre limit: Licence price PS87.50 (up for 12 consecutive months)
- To store petroleum spirit in excess of 10,000 litres: Licence price $175 (up up to 12 months)
Cheques should be made payable in the name of “Isle of Man ” Government”
Validity
Licenses for petrol are valid for the period of 12 to 24 months.
