- To apply for an application for a Phytosanitary certificate, applicants must contact for a Phytosanitary certificate at the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment. Contact details are provided below in the “office contact and office locations” section.
- It is necessary to fill out an Application form with the Contacting Officer in the Department of Agriculture, Water and Environment.

- Complete the online application and fill in your personal details.
- Be sure to have all the necessary documents which are listed under the “Required Document””Required Document” section on this page.
- The applicant must submit the application form that has been filled out along with the required documents to the officer responsible for the Department of Agriculture.
- Once the application has been processed The applicant must pay the amount as specified by the Officer.
- The inspector visits the applicant’s premises and inspects the item that is destined to be shipped out.
- If the inspection produces satisfactory results The inspector will issue an Phytosanitary Certificate.

- The applicant has to register as an exporter on the Export Documentation System(EXDOC)

- Fill out the form, download it and complete your personal details.
- The applicant must send the form filled in and completed filled in to the EXDOC helpdesk. Contact information are provided below under the “office addresses and locations” section.
- After the registration form has been completed, users of export are issued an individual exporter number. They are now able to get permits, along with other documents required and issued to their names through the EXDOC System. Link
