Information that could be helpful

It is vital to keep in mind that
The Ugandan Embassy as well as Consular Offices are the sole legally authorized Ugandan Government Agencies which are authorized to issue Ugandan visas to a foreign country.
A visa on your passport is not a guarantee of admission. This is still the responsibility of the officials who oversee immigration in Uganda.
An invitation letter is not a assure that a visa will be granted. Visa officers evaluate the applicant’s credentials to determine whether you comply with the requirements of Uganda’s immigration laws.
Always write your invitation letters with sincerity and you must be honest and make sure you keep the promises made on the paper.
The mere fact of writing a letter of invite doesn’t mean that anyone is legally accountable for the guest when he or she arrives to Uganda.
The person who is writing the invitation letter must make sure that the letter contains complete names of the applicant, their birthday date, residence, and telephone number, the relationship with the applicant, the motive for the visit, and how length of time the person will remain in Uganda in the country, where the person will be staying, the method by which he or she plans to be able to pay for things and when the person is planning to depart from Uganda.
In addition, the person who writes an invitation must provide the full name of the person inviting and the date of birth and address and phone number in Uganda as well as the your job title, whether you are a permanent or citizen resident, and a photocopy of the document that proves your residency in Uganda like a birth certificate
If the country you were born was Uganda and have a citizenship card in the event that your naturalized citizenship is valid or an image of your Permanent Residence card, if you’re permanent resident.
Declaration cards for departure and arrival can be obtained at the lounge for arrival.
Sometimes, you will be required to produce additional documents.
Be sure to carefully read through the letter of appointment to interview.
Take all documents required that might have been requested in the appointment letter for interview.
Photos must be attached to the application form with the help of a glue stick. The photo should be clipped and stapled to the application form not recommended.
