Apply for Student Pilot License in Nigeria By Yourself
- In order to apply for Student Pilot License in person applicants must go to the office of the Nigerian Civil Aviations Authority.

- Go to the NCAA office by submitting an application in writing and executed by a person who is authorized by the candidate to ask an Student Pilot Licence from the appropriate department.
- Be sure to have all the required documents under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Include the documents required with your application.
- After that, you must forward the application in person to Director General in their office to facilitate additional processes.
- After receiving the application and all attached documents The application will then be reviewed in a process at the Licensing Directorate. The evaluation will be conducted by Licence Examiners/ASI.
- The applicant will receive an invoice for processing charges and be instructed to make payment at a bank that has been designated.
- The teller is then presented to the NCAA cash desk at which an official acknowledgement of the payment is obtained and then submitted to the Licensing Directorate upon which the application is approved.
- When the document is complete The applicant will be informed that they have received the Licence, which is signed by the applicant. The document will be released on presentation of a valid identification document or a letter of authority by the business.
- If the applicant’s application is not satisfactory, a letter of Denial is sent for the application within 24 hours of receipt will inform the applicant the reason for the denial , and providing advice to the applicant regarding the unsatisfactory documents required to satisfy the requirements of the applicant.

What are all the Eligibility
- A candidate must reside in Nigeria and over 16 years old.
- The applicant should have had and documented the appropriate ground instruction by an instructor who is a licensed instructor in the specific category of flight.
- The applicant must have received and documented relevant ground instruction with an authorized instructor in airspace regulations and procedures applicable to the aerodrome at which the student is scheduled to fly solo flights.
