  1. Begin by visiting the National Water & Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) office closest to you. You will be involved in the process by completing the following steps:
    • Two passport-sized photos for people or a company stamp.
    • The proof of ownership of the property or your tenancy contract if you are a tenant
    • A copy of your ID card.
    • An email from the local Chairperson of the council.
  2. Contact the customer service desk and ask for the application form. Read the directions carefully before filling the form accurately. Submit it to the staff member who will be in charge.
  3. Your information are processed before being then entered into the NWSC data base . Once it’s scheduled for a survey , the surveyor will be assigned to the premises of the customer to assess the requirements for the material.
  4. The connection costs are determined by the surveyor according to the type of connection (water or sewerage) as well as the distance to the mains and whether it’s a brand new connection or segregation of accounts.
  5. The customer is then given an invoice for payment and will be charged new connection fees which are based on the amount of service such as half an inch or three quarter inch connection, or a one-inch connection.
  6. After payment of the connection fee , you will be scheduled for the date of connection , an engineer will be sent to the client’s premises to begin the plan for connection

  2. You will be taken to the next page . Read carefully through the instructions and accurately fill in the form and upload all required documents and send your application
  3. Your data are processed before being added to the NWSC database. A surveyor will then be dispatched to the client’s premises to establish the required materials.
  4. Connection costs are then determined by the surveyor based on the type of connection (water or sewerage) as well as the distance to the mains and whether it’s a brand new connection or segregation from the existing account.
  5. The client will then receive an invoice for payment and will be charged new connection fees that are determined by the amount of service, for example, half an inch three quarter inch, or a single inch connection.
  6. When the connection fee after payment of the connection fee, a plumber will be dispatched to the location of the customer in order to start the connection plan

  • The connection to sewage and water is in effect for so long as you pay your each month’s bill. Failure to pay the bill could result in the disconnection of the service.

  • When water is connected to wastewater by the NWSC the client will be obliged to pay the water bill at the time it is due to enable the water service to be enjoyed in the future. Failure to pay your water bill on time will cause the disconnecting of the water on your premises
