  • When an ID card that is valid for voting is used to move residence, the address on the card needs be changed.
  • The application for transposition of an entry from one electorate roll onto another section of an electoral roll area can be filed in the Electoral Registration Office of applicant’s current residence address.

  • After receiving the application the acknowledgement is issued as a reference number for the application which is used to monitor the progress of the application.
  • The form will go through, and details will be verified by the authorities responsible for elections.
  • After successful verification, the applicant will be issued an ID card for the voter that has an updated addresses printed on it.

The applicant will also receive an email regarding the inclusion of their name on the electoral roll of the district in which they reside.
