The document is needed
Created in pursuance of Federal Decree No.2 for 2004 in 2004, the Emirates Identity Authority is in charge of establishing a population Registry System in UAE. It is accountable for the registration of individual data and civil matters for UAE citizens and non-nationals living in the country and issuing an ID card to every registered person.
Emirates Identity Authority can link the ID cards of family members to give its customers documents proving kinship. This will allow the issuance of a Family Tree Certificate.

The linking of the ID cards of family members allows for easier processing of all family applications in one go Additionally, it serves as document of membership in the family and ensure the identity of its members.
