Beer tavern license: $50
Beer taverns, beer sellers importers, beer, alcoholic beverage, importers of alcoholic beverages and alcohol beverage vendor licenses only valid at one location only.
All licenses and any applicable endorsements can be granted on a calendar-year basis, regardless of the date they were issued. They expire at the 31st day of December in the year that they were issued or renewed.
You may start renewing your license 3 months before your current license expires.
License is not transferable The license is granted to the individual or individuals who submit the application. It can’t be transferred to another individual, unless upon the termination of a tenancy, or the sale of mortgage when the original contract states that the license will be an obligation security or obligation, in which case the Governor will be promptly informed that there is a forfeiture. Licenses that are contingent on the meeting of any of the qualifications or requirements pertaining to the location where the licensee is conducting his trade, business, or profession, cannot be transferred to a different location without an application in writing and approval in writing by the Governor.
The person who is in violation of this prohibition is not allowed to import or produce any alcohol-based beverage or beer of any kind, or any malt syrup, malt extract, or to have in his possession or custody or possession sell, give or receive any type of alcohol or beer, or keep it on any ship or aircraft that is within the territory of American Samoa unless he has adhered to the regulations that are imposed by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board.
Notification: Recognized religious organization are not restricted from import in American Samoa sacramental wine for usage in religious ceremonies, but without a permit.
