Obtain a Certificate of Coexistence In Iceland By Online
- Make an order for the Certificate of Co-existence online and pay using a credit card. You can only purchase certificates on the internet for your children, yourself and those under your care.
- In order to submit the request online for certificates you’ll need to login. It can take 5-10 minutes to get the certificate. you’ll have to make online banking. After that, you will need to log in, make changes and enter your email and contact address.
- Certificates given to applicants are based on information on your registration that is kept in the National Register.
All certificates are sent via post. You can also request that your certificate to be sent via email. This is possible with orders made via the internet or on presentation of an ID valid on the desk at reception.

Processing Time
It can take the average of 5-8 hours for your certificate to become completed and 8-10 days when the workload is heavy. The application will go through at the time your payment is received. You should allow additional processing time to the delivery of your certificate.
