  • Applicant(s) should go to The Ministry of Mines and Geology, General Directorate of Mines and Geology (DGMG) office and register your interest.
  • Get the application form from the registration desk or service desk and complete it with precision.
  • Complete the form and send it together with additional documentation (listed in the following) to the official who is attending who will then forward the document for review by the Mine Administration Committee for verification and processing.
  • When you submit the application, the applicant must pay the amount and submit the Receipt for Payment of the Fixed Duty back to Mines Administration within two days.
  • Mines Administration Mines Administration has a period of 10 (10) work days beginning the date of the submission of the dossier to inform the applicant of the acceptance or non-admissibility of his/her request, and provide additional instructions.
  • The applicants who are approved are further evaluated and then processed through the Mine Administration Committee.
  • In the event that your Mine Administration Committee are satisfied that all the requirements to file the application met, you will be informed via phone, mail or in person. You will be issued with an approval certificate for the purchase of, sell or import rough diamonds from the registered person within the next 90 days.

  • A letter of request directed to Minister responsible for Mines.
  • Articles of Association Articles of Association.
  • The Trade Register is a Trade Register having as its purpose “the purchase or sale, export, and importation of Diamonds.
  • An identity photo for the manager.
  • A Nationality Certificate issued by the Manager.
  • A Judicial Record under three (3) months prior to the date of the Manager.
  • A Residence Certificate for the Manager.
  • An Income Tax Regularity Certificate that is lower that One (1) one (1) year.
  • The Bank Certificate of credit balance of not less than at least ten (10) Million FCFA and not older than 3 (3) three (3) months.
  • A document identifying the financial institutions in which the funds will be housed.
  • The list of Countries in which the company has been founded, along with an official copy of the Approvals received.
  • The list below includes all the affiliated companies.
  • The complete list of Shareholders with at minimum 10% of shares, including their address and primary activity.
  • The Payment Receipt for the fixed duty imposed by the mining regulations

Note:

The documents have to be provided as the form of four (4) physically-copied copies. One of them is marked with”original” and ” the original “and those three (3) others with the wording “copy “. The documents should also be supported with a digital copy stored that is stored on the USB key.

Fees

  • The application fee is $3 (3) millions FCFA

NoticeThis amount is payable with three (3) equal portions each of which is the amount of one (1) million FCFA each the first part of which is due upon receipt of the request, and the remaining instalments prior to on the anniversary of date of the issue of the certificate.

Validity

It is valid for 3 years and is it is renewable after that.

Processing Time

      • Mines Administration Mines Administration has a period of 10 (10) work days beginning the date of the submission of the dossier to inform the applicant of the acceptance or not of his application.

If your application is approved for processing, you will be informed of the decision within 90 days of lodging your application.
