Obtain Coffee Roasters License (permit) In Uganda By Yourself

The coffee roaster’s license is issued by the Uganda The coffee Development Authority. Apply in-person

  1. The application for the Coffee Roasters license is done in person at the development Authority head Offices as well as their Field Offices within the District.
  2. You will receive an Application for an Coffee Roaster’s License that you need to fill in and submit.

  7. If the board approves, the board, a list with confirmed coffee lists is released by the Uganda gazette.
  8. The applicant will be notified, and is required to pay the appropriate fee for the license to the board, and then submit the receipt as evidence of payment.
  9. Once the processing of the license is completed, after which the Coffee Roasters License is given to the person who applied for the license by the Director at the Coffee Development Authority.

Eligibility

Anyone who is a cooperative society, group, or corporation that wishes to operate a business roasting coffee to sell locally or export.

Fees

Licence Fees 1,000,000 Ugshs.

Validity

This license will be valid for the duration which is one full year.
