Eligibility
Many learners opt to study in a certified driving school because instructors can instruct students on the types of questions likely to come up on the test. Additionally, the test itself must be taken in an auto with dual controls, which is supplied by the school for training and to prepare for the practical test. In other cases, the test-taker must rent a dual-control automobile and obtain insurance prior to the test that can be completed. Dual-control cars that are hired can only be rented out for driving tests. They cannot be used to training.
