How To Oversize Overmass Permit In Australia
Web-based Access Management System:

- Enter the Regulator Customer Number(RCN) and PIN to login or register.
via Fax or Mail:
- Fill out the Oversize overmass permit application form. The required information should be completed.
- Complete the application.
- You must pay the charge. (Payments may be done with credit or debit cards.)

Eligibility
One must apply for an “class 1” Oversize Overmass (OSOM) permission when the OSOM configuration isn’t in line with a dimension, mass or operating requirement that is specified in an announcement in the gazette.

- For travel within the Qld/Vic/ACT/SA region, please apply directly to the appropriate or territorial road transport authority..
- to travel within NSWapply for travel within NSW, apply Roads and Maritime Services for roads that are controlled by the state and for travel within NSW, apply to the individual Councils in the case of roads run by local authorities. You can also submit an application for the NHVR by sending an Oversize Overmass Permit application form.

- For travel across borders, apply directly for cross-border travel directly to for cross-border travel, apply directly to NHVR by filling out the Oversize Overmass Permit application form. Notice: The NHVR accepts all cross-border applications with the exception of journeys within Northern Territory and Western Australia. In these cases, you can make an application direct to the appropriate highway or state transportation authority.
