Documents Required Existing Company

  • A completed registration form
  • Original identity card for citizenship of the promoters must be displayed at the Company Registry Division, Department of Industry at the time of applying and the necessary documents to register companies in line with the Companies Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan.
  • Form as per Part I in the Companies Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan 2000.
  • Consent to be directors of the business given by the directors who were the first to sign it in the form specified in the Schedule II of the Companies Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan 2000.
  • A declaration signed by director or directors in the format that is provided within the Schedule II in the Companies Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan.
  • Sectoral clearance from the relevant sector as well as the industrial license numbers.

Eligibility

A minimum of two citizens that are the age of 18 and would like to establish a company in accordance with the Companies Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan 2000.

Fees

The owners of the company must pay Nu. 1,000 if their approved share capital does not more than Nu. 1,000,000 , Nu. 1500 If you have a share of capital that falls between Nu. 1,000,000 and Nu. 200 000 and Nu. 2000 for share capital authorized that is greater than Nu. 2,000,000.

Registration forms must be filled out and processed at the Company Registry Division, Department of Industry, Ministry of Economic Affairs.
