  1. You can renew your car ownership online, via kiosks, or by submitting an application in Services Centres or by calling the call center.
  2. Online :
    1. To apply online, click this link.
    2. Complete the required details and pay for the service with your credit card.
    3. The owner will be sent a copy of the temporary duplicate of your certificate of ownership by an email.
    4. To obtain an ownership certificate and a sticker you will need to go through any of these channels: courier service for a fee for 20 AED. The courier company will make 3 unsuccessful attempts at delivering the certificate, before returning it to the centre , where the client picks it up.
      With the help of the Customer Satisfaction Centre located in Deira and Al Barsha
      Through kiosks, you can input your details for the purchase. The customer gets the printing service through the printer at the kiosk.
  3. You can also get your certificate renewed using the service kiosks :
    1. Choose the online service you’re applying to.
    2. Input the details of your car
    3. You will get an ownership certificate and a label from the printer at the kiosk.

    1. Visit a service center.
    2. Make sure you submit all the necessary documents and pay the applicable fees.

Renewal costs:

  • 350 AED light vehicle private or public
  • 400 AED vehicle weighing between three and twelve tonnes
  • Public vehicle 650 AED between three and twelve tonnes
  • 1000 AED vehicle that exceeds 12 tonnes
  • 1200 AED for public vehicles that exceed 12 tonnes
  • $500 AED for light equipment in mechanical
  • 800 AED for public light mechanical equipment
  • 800 AED for heavy-duty mechanical machines
  • 1000 AED for public heavy mechanical equipment
  • Semi-trailer and trailer with 120 AED
  • 300 AED bus that has several passengers in the 14-26 age range.
  • 600 AED bus that has the number of passengers in excess of 26
  • 200 AED motorcycle
  • +20 AED fee for knowledge and innovation.

Note that if the ownership was expired for longer than one year, the charges are as follows:

Inspection fees:

  • 150 AED inspection for a light vehicle
  • 200 AED inspections of a massive vehicle
  • 150 AED inspection of a motorbike
  • 100 AED test of the quad bike
  • 150 AED inspection of lightweight mechanical device
  • 200 AED inspection on a large mechanical machine
  • 50 AED re-inspection for an automobile that is light
  • 75 AED inspection of heavy vehicles
  • Semi-trailer and trailer with 120 AED
  • Technical inspection for 420 AED of a classic vehicle
  • 100 AED technical inspection for exports
  • +20 AED fee for knowledge and innovation.

Validity

Your registration for your vehicle will expire at the end of a year.
