Is the speed of electron equal to the speed of light?

Einstein’s relativistic mechanics equations show that only a massless particle can reach the speed of light. The rest mass of the particle when it is at rest is zero. The mass of the particle at rest is zero ………as the particle moves, it gains mass (again using Einstiens equations).

Let’s conclude that an electron cannot reach the speed of light because it has a rest mass which is less than zero.
