Electrical Engineering is the most important branch of Engineering. Any industry, including Power, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, and Process, all require electrical engineers. Electrical Engineers are also needed in service industries such as banks, hotels, hospitals, etc. Electrical Engineers are needed at every stage of our lives. Electrical Engineering is essential for our existence.

There are many job opportunities in electrical engineering.

You can study for a Masters in Electrical Engineering after completing your graduation.

Here are some of the options:-

1.GATE-

  • Jobs in PSUs like IOCL,ONGC,PGCIL,BARC,BHEL,SAIL,GAIL,RINL,DRDO,ISRO etc. Some PSUs conduct their own recruitment and examination processes.
  • M.Tech. IITs, NITs. GATE is written annually by approximately 1.2 lakh students in each branch. The competition is fierce.

2. IES-

As an engineer, you can apply for a job as a Group A officer in Railways.

3.Central Government jobs(SSC)

Many government jobs are available for ENGINEERING graduate through

  • SSC-CGL,
  • SSC-JE,
  • SSC-CHSL.

4.RRB (Railway Recruitment board).

SSC (Senior Section Engineer), Locopilot This notification could be issued in May.

5.Bank Jobs-

  • PO (Probationary Officer), such as SBI PO and IBPS PO, IDBI PO and DENA BANK PO.
  • Clerk through IBPS, SBI.
  • RBI Grade-B Officer , RBI Assistant jobs.

6.Software jobs can be found by learning languages such as C, Python, and Data Structures. WEB Development, Analytics and Machine Learning.

7. NAVY, AER-FORCE, and ARMY

9. M.Sc. from foreign universities via GRE, TOEFL, etc.

10.REGIONAL TRANSCOs & GENCOs

Evey state has its own transmission-distribution corporation (MAHA TRANSCO.TS TRANSO.GENCO etc). They recruit Electrical graduates through their own examinations. The pay is also very high.
