Charging a Smartphone
It is now or never for Laptops, Netbooks, and Desktops. Why?!! !
Because people of all ages love the smartphone, a hand-held beauty. This is something that we didn’t even think of just a few decades ago. It’s something that we cannot live without.
Their poor battery backup is the only issue I have with smartphones. They are too easy to discharge. Here is some information that may be of use to you regarding charging.
While charging the smartphone from a
- Wall Socket chargers typically support 1.0 Amps from DC. Some chargers for Nokia and Apple support > 1.0 Amps.
- The USB 2.0 port is found on Laptops or Desktops. It charges with a typically 0.5 Amps current.
- The typical charging current for a USB 3.0 port (blue-colored one) is 0.9 Amps.
The more the current input to the smartphone, the more its charging rate . So next time if you are in a hurry use the wall socket or USB 3.0 port for fast charging. Use the USB 2.0 only if you have the liberty of time.
