What is the definition of electric current?

My fellow quoran has already mathematically explained it so i’ll try to provide an analogy.

Imagine a water tank with water on the roof. A tap is on the ground.

What happens when the tap is opened? The water flows. This is due to diffrence between the highlands. This is known as voltage diffrence. These heights are known as voltages.

The flow of charges resulting from this diffrence is also current.

Current is defined as the rate at which water (charges), flows. We hope you find it useful.
