Apply for Investment Certificate In Malawi By Yourself
- Investors must go to at least the Malawi Investment and Trade Centre (MITC) office at their area to collect their application forms personally. Contact Link

- Complete the application correctly and double-check to ensure that you sure that you have all the required documents in the section D of the application form.
- Complete the application and send it in the MITC office to be processed and verified.
- An MITC official will check the application to ensure it meets the required requirements and, if verified, the applicant must pay the fee of $200 to be processed for the certificate.
- The application will then be transferred on to MITC Internal Approval Committee (IAC) to evaluate the application to determine whether or not it deserves approval or rejection.
- Investors will be informed when the application has been approved.
- Then the investor is required to pay a pre-determined charge of $880.
- Once completed the invest certificate will then be given within five working days.

- Scanned or Photocopied Passport Personal Information pages of Shareholders.

Eligibility
Every investor in Malawi can apply for these investment certificates.
Fees
- $100 will be paid upon submission of the application , and $800 will be paid upon acceptance of your application.
- Payments are made in US dollars in the MITC offices or paid to MITC’s foreign exchange debited account. The proof of the payment must be sent to MITC.

Every investor who invest in Malawi are required to get the Investment Certificate before they establish their company in Malawi.
