How To Apply for Learner Driver License In Costa Rica
- Collect all documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section.
- Visit a driver’s license office. The addresses are listed under the “Office Locations and Contacts.
- Make sure you submit all documents required and pay the exam fee (fees may be paid by an institution for additional information – this link).
- Take a health exam.
- Pass the theory test.
Documents that are required Learner Driver License
- Valid identity
- Evidence of payment of the fee for application
- Certificate of medical necessity (valid over 180 days)
- Documentation that proves that you’ve completed the Basic Driving Course
- Payment of insurance policy
