Eligibility

Malaysian citizens can apply for an entry visa.

Fees

Charges according to pages:
Price normal

  • RM100.00 for 48 pages (Valid at 2 Years)
  • RM300.00 to purchase 48 sheets (Valid at 5 Years)
  • RM600.00 to purchase 64 sheets (Valid up to 5 years)

Discounted/Half price

  • RM80.00 for 48 pages (Valid to 2 years)
  • RM150.00 per 48-pages (Valid up to five years)
  • RM300.00 per 64-pages (Valid at 5 Years)

Notes:

  • Condition for Discounted or Half price:
    Senior citizens (60 years old or older) and children under 12 years old and students under 21 with the proof of studying abroad at the time of the that they are submitted.
  • The payment exemption is given to disabled or handicapped person if they provide a written confirmation of the Welfare Department.

Validity

The Malaysia Passport is valid after five or two days from the date it was issued.

Processing Time

The passport will be issued within two hours at passport offices, and three working days for offices that receive. Certain immigration offices can issue the passport in less than an hour after receiving the payment.

Instructions

  • The applicants must be present on the spot at Immigration Offices or Malaysian Representative Offices.
  • Payments can be made through:
    • Cash
    • The cross is a Postal Money Order or Bank Draft in the name of Director-General for Immigration Malaysia or State Immigration Director Only.
    • The payment for applications made through Malaysian Offices Abroad through commonwealth countries must be in the names of Malaysia high commissioner or deputy Malaysia High Commissioner or by a Non-commonwealth state must be made under the names of Malaysia Ambassador or Malaysia Consulate General.
