  • To apply for an application for a Phytosanitary Certificate, the applicant must contact for assistance from the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD). Contact details are provided below in the “office contact and office locations” section.
  • It is necessary to complete an Application form and submit it to The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD)

  • Print the Application Form “Phytosanitary Certificate” and fill in your personal details.
  • Make sure you are armed with all the documents required which are listed under the “Required Document””Required Document” section on this page.
  • The applicant must submit the application form that has been filled out along with the required documents at the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD). Contact information is listed in the “office addresses and contact details” section.
  • The application form should be completed in person at seven days or more prior to the delivery of your consignment.
  • After the application has been accepted after which the applicant has to pay a fee for user right away at the shroffs counter. Be aware that charges are non-refundable regardless of whether the phytosanitary certificate is issued or not.
  • The Inspector goes to the Applicant’s premises and examines the shipment that is destined to be shipped out.
  • When the inspection has produced satisfactory results and the inspector is satisfied, he issues an Phytosanitary Certificate.
