Eligibility
- Must be at least 16 years old over.
- The applicant was not in Malaysia from the age of 12 until 16
Fees
When the request is filed within 30 days of arrival date in Malaysia the fee will be not charged. When the request is submitted within the grace period, then a payment of 10 RM is required.

Instructions
Regulation 3 of the National Registration Regulations 1990 (Amendment 2007) stipulates that a person who was not a resident of Malaysia between the ages of 12 and 16 years old must apply for an ID card no later than 30 days from the date of entry into Malaysia.
