Obtain License to Supply Coal In Malawi By Online
- Make sure you have all required documents, get an application form for Importation Licence Form ECSI Form Malawi Energy Regulation Authority (MERA) office at your address.
- Apply for the form according to the requirements and pay the necessary application fee.
- Attach all required documents to the form, including the receipt of payment proof
- The complete application should be sent at the Malawi Energy Regulation Authority through this address: MERA; Private Bag B496, Capital City, Lilongwe 3, Malawi. If you wish, you can hand in the application yourself directly to their head office (Licensing Section)
- A licensing official will be notified of your application. MERA will acknowledge the receipt of your application in writing within 30 days of the day they received it.
- The licensing office will send applications to Energy Technical and Licensing committee of MERA which will review the application and then recommend an answer to the MERA main board.
- The Main board will meet and decide on whether or not to issue the license
- In the event that they are able to approve the application you will be informed of their decision via the contact information you supplied
- It will then be considered, and you’ll be required to pick the full license when it’s available for collection
