Obtain Permit to Import Forest Produce In Malawi By Yourself

1. Make sure you have the necessary documents ready and then visit to the Ministry of Natural Resources, Energy and Environment office.
2. Visit the Department of forestry to submit the necessary documents i.e. Import license and phytosanitary document from country of the origin . the service desk agent will give you the application form for Permit after checking the documents you have submitted.
3. Fill out the application form, and return it to the desk agent to be reviewed
4. The officer will review the application and , if it is it is correct the applicant are directed to an account office for payment of the application fee
5. Pay the application fee according to the instructions and get the receipt for payment
6. The application will be processed and made available to collect
7. Go to the department’s office, in order to make payment for permit fees. Then, get the permit in full valid for 21 consecutive days.
