Obtain Permit to Import Milk or Milk Product In Malawi By Yourself

1. Download the application form from the Department of Animal Health and Livestock Development (DAHLD) office
2. Fill out the application form and mail it in the Department of Animal Health and Livestock Development (DAHLD) office of processing.
3. Pay the application fees and then submit your payment form in the direction of the DAHLD official
4. The officer will send your complete application for approval to DAHLD director who will issue an inspection per-inspection of the imports
5. An inspector will be sent to conduct an inspection on the products made from milk, and then write reports based on the observations
6. The inspector will send his report to Director and if the items you import are not in compliance with the standards for imports, you’ll be refused the permit
7. If the report indicates that the imports are in compliance with the requirements of the standard The Director will issue the license
8. Finally , you must collect the milk import permit from the DAHLD
