How To Obtain Pleasure Craft Licence In Canada

- Once you’ve completed your application online, and uploaded all required documents, an acknowledgement number (valid for 90 days following the date of initial issue) will be issued and sent back to you via email. What Are All The Eligibility
A boat used to relax, enjoy or for daily life is referred to as a pleasure craft.
Every pleasure craft must have the Pleasure Craft Licence, with the following limitations:
- A pleasure craft that has motors of less than 10 hp (7.5 kW)
- A pleasure craft with an official vessel registration
- A pleasure craft bought within less than 90 days prior to purchase (this is an opportunity to grace period, in that time, the newly-purchased owner has to be able to carry a proof of ownership that includes their name and address, as well as the date of purchase)
