How To Register a Death In Costa Rica
- To record a death, visit the Consulate in your state and fill out your application.
- Send in your application with all of the documents required.
Documents that are required Register a Death
- Death Certificate
- Certificate of autopsy, or a cremation certificate If appropriate
- Certificate that the deceased was not suffering from infectious diseases at the time of his death If this information was not recorded in the autopsy report.
- Additionally, the applicant must be able to provide evidence of its connection to the deceased
