Eligibility

  • The applicant must be of the minimum age for the category of vehicle or permit they are applying for.
  • Unqualified from obtaining or holding any learner license driving licence, driving licence international driving permit, professional driving licence
  • No learner’s license or driving license, international driving permit, or professional driving permit issued by me in the past three years was suspended or cancelled.
  • You should not be suffering from one of these illnesses or impairments:
    • Epilepsy that is not controlled;
    • Giddiness with a giddiness problem that’s sudden or fainting caused by hypertension or another disease;
    • Any type of mental illness that is to the degree that it is essential to have the patient monitored, detained, and considered a patient in terms of law on mental health;
    • Any problem that results in muscle incoordination
    • Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus;
    • Other illness or disability that is likely to make the person ineligible for controlling and driving the motor vehicle in the class he or she is applying for while driving without putting at risk the safety of others.
  • In no way addicted to any substance that has an narcotic affect or excessive consumption of alcohol intoxicants.
  • Applicant must satisfy the minimum vision requirements set forth in the regulation 7 for the category of vehicle being applied for, and not suffer from vision impairment when wearing: NO correctional lenses or CORRECTIVE LENSES
  • The applicant must not suffer from any medical issue that makes him/her ineligible for an operating licence under the provisions of the

requirements in the Road Traffic Act and regulations as well as for the purpose of driving motor vehicles
