These are some things I want you all to know.
- Hacking is impossible because the EVMs don’t have an Internet connection.
- The first level of verification is completed months before the polls in the presence of party representatives.
- EVMs will be tested again 13 days prior to polling in the presence of candidates who have signed a certificate certifying that EVMs work.
- EVMs must be sealed in paper with a unique security number before being sent out.
- To check the EVMs again, mock polling is conducted before actual polling.
All these safety checks, in the presence of candidates and party representatives, I believe EVMs are safe.
