Apply for Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) Scholarship in Nigeria in online
- In order to be eligible to the Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) to receive a post-graduate or undergraduate award, you must submit your application via the website for the Federal Scholarship Board (FSB) of Nigeria by clicking on this link: – Federal Scholarship Board
- If you’re an existing user on the FSB portal, click the “Existing Candidates Login” button located at the top right on the FSB page. You will be taken onto the Login page. Enter your registered telephone number and email address to sign into your account.
- You can also click the “APPLY for 2020/2021 Nigeria AWARD SCHOLARSHIP” (or for the year you are applying for) link to be taken to the scholarship page on which you can find the scholarship applications that are currently open.
- Review the information and the guidelines regarding the scholarship. Then click on the “APPLY now” button to be taken to the page for creating an account.
- Input the required information and click the “REGISTER” button. You will be taken to the site’s tile, which will inform you that your account has been successfully created. You can now proceed to log in.
- Input your password and email, then click”LOGIN. “LOGIN” option to log in to your account.
- When you log in, on your dashboard, you’ll see information about the current scholarships as well as other announcements. You will need to update your profile in order to be eligible to BEA’s scholarship. BEA scholarship.
- Select”Your Profile” or click on “Your Profile” link to open the drop-down menu. Choose “Bio Information” to start the Biodata online application.
- Upload your Passport through the “Choose File” button. Then, submit your Bio-data in full as appropriate and then click the “Save” button.
- Once you’ve completed entering your biodata, you can proceed to fill out the “Parents/Next of Kin” page of data by filling in the required information and clicking”Save. “Save” option.
- Next, fill out the “Current Academic level” section, and then click the “Save” button. Additionally, upload the scanned copies of important documents required by clicking the “Choose document” button on the next screen.
- Once you have all the documents required have been received, complete the application form and submit your application following the on-screen instructions, if applicable and download the completed application form.
- Check out at the Computer Based Test Centre (CBT) using the form that you downloaded and hard copies of supporting documents needed for the oral Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) test.
- The test results will be processed, with the scores are ranked on merit, starting from the lowest level by JAMB for all applicants who submitted.
- These results are sent the results to the Inter-Ministerial Nomination Committee chaired by the FSB director, who will review the results of JAMB to collect a data collection of candidates who are eligible in order to consider the BEA scholarship based on criteria of the country that awards it.
- A committee is then able to decide on the best candidates for the BEA award and then forward the selected applicants to the relevant embassies in the country or countries offering the award.
- The country that is the donor may conduct an interview to determine an ultimate selection process of candidates who will be awarded the BEA award by their embassies.
- In the event that your request is accepted and you are given the BEA scholarship You will be invited to an information session prior to departure, which is held by the FSB which will see you given the award letter as well as all the relevant details and documentation required to help you get the process of obtaining your scholarship.

What are all the Eligibility
- To be eligible for postgraduate scholarship, Nigerian applicants with an Masters’ Degree and First Degree with First Class or at the very least 2nd-Class upper are eligible for the scholarship.
- To receive a scholarship for undergraduates, Nigerian candidates who wish to apply for undergraduate degree programs are eligible to apply , provided that they satisfy the scholarship and course prerequisites.
- You must hold the minimum requirement of five As or Bs on the West African Examination Council (WAEC) May/June Result comprising English Language and Mathematics at one sitting in subjects that are relevant to the field of study to be eligible for a scholarship at the undergraduate level.
- The age of certificates should not exceed more than one calendar year in African countries, and the two-year limit for European countries with undergraduate scholarships.
- The age limit for candidates is between 18 and twenty years of age for the undergraduate scholarship.
