  • On the next screen, the application summary will be displayed. read it once, and then upload the Permit Front and Back Page, if it is available by clicking the “choose the file” button for each document.
  • After that, you’ll need to upload all supporting documents to the appropriate organizations and then click the “confirm” button after you have completed uploading.
  • Make sure you check the declaration box, then click the “Generate Remita Number to make a Bank Payment/Pay Online” button on the next screen to continue with the payment.
  • Pay the amount that is applicable to the permit type you have chosen by following the screen instructions and then follow the next steps.
  • After application submission and successful payment, the application along with the supporting documents will be put out for verification and validation.
  • After confirming that the required requirements are in order after which the official will continue to complete the necessary actions.

What are all the Eligibility

  • Any company within Nigeria which is planning to conduct importation of Petroleum products, is eligible to apply.
  • The applicant company must be been registered at the Corporate Affairs Commission.
  • The company should be able to access storage facilities, whether leased or owned from third-party suppliers.

Fees

  • Application fee: N 75000
  • Processing cost Processing fee: 210000

Validity

The validity is for a time which is 90 calendar days.

Instructions

  • All submitted documents will be inspected and, if acceptable the permit is granted an application.
  • With every new request for a permit the permit issued to a company previously for importation will be renewed.
  • All petroleum products imported from the United States have to meet specifications of National Quality Standard specifications as accepted by DPR.
