  • To request tax clearance, you must inform to the Inland Revenue Department of the planned day of your departure. You can call either by phone, email or writing to the Department (contact information below). You must provide your name and Hong Kong Identity Card No. or Passport No. and file No. (if known). For future communication (if you have one), provide your phone number. or your postal address within Hong Kong and also the overseas post office address.
