Applications can be made in any of the RTD State offices. Holders of a Malaysian driving licences who would like to drive in countries outside of Malaysia are advised to apply for an international driver’s permit. Required Documents For International Driver License
- Application completed Form RTD L1
- Original driving license issued in the United States that’s valid for one year.
- Genuine Identity Card.
- Original passport as well as replicas (for citizens who are not citizen).
- Two passport size colour photos.
- If the application is submitted by an authorized agent of applicant a photocopy of the applicant’s identity document and driving license should be provided.
