What Are All The Eligibility

The person who is entitled to request an original copy of their birth certificate:

  • The persons who are the subject of the record or any other person who’s status as a civil person is affected by this entry
  • Anyone who has an interest that is legal in the acceptance, unless an overriding legitimate reason for the person referred to in the registration. This precludes
  • Public bodies and authorities to enforce the laws

Birth Certificates issued: 9.30 EUR (7.20 EUR 2.10 EUR German Federal Tax and administrative fee)

NOTE:

  • Beginning January 1, 2008 applications for and issuance of birth certificate/international birth certificate that are caused directly by the birth of a child, unless it is issued within two years from the birth of the child, are free of charge (does not apply for requesting duplicate copy due to loss or theft ). For more information , please contact in the office of the registry.
