Note

Processing Time

The Act on the Residence of Foreign Nationals establishes a standard period of 90 days for the processing of the application for a long-term visa, starting on the day the application was submitted. In some circumstances, it can be extended to 60 days after the date of filing the application , and in certain circumstances (for purposes of study or pedagogical activities, or research) after 60 days after making the application.
