How To Obtain Long Term Visa In Czech Republic

Note
In the event that you do not receiving a long-term visa In the event of not being granted a long-term visa, the MOI will notify you in writing about the reasons behind not granting this long-term permit. If this happens within 15 days of receiving information regarding not receiving the long-term visa, you can ask the MOI directly to provide a fresh appraisal of the reason for not giving the visa. Within 60 days after receiving the appraisal, the MOI will notify you by letter of the outcome of the latest appraisal of the grounds that led to the refusal of a visa.

Naturally, in the course of applying you may submit additional documents you believe are important to support your application. Keep in mind that travel documents must always be presented in person.

Processing Time
The Act on the Residence of Foreign Nationals establishes a standard period of 90 days for the processing of the application for a long-term visa, starting on the day the application was submitted. In some circumstances, it can be extended to 60 days after the date of filing the application , and in certain circumstances (for purposes of study or pedagogical activities, or research) after 60 days after making the application.
Instructions
