a. Contact the consulate or embassy.

The applicant should submit a requisition for a police clearance document at the nearest embassy or consulate.

After processing internally, the consulate will then send your letter for processing to Judicial Register of the Supreme Court in San Jose, where your request will be considered. When the certificate is created the applicant will be notified.
The authorized representative of the applicant can pick up the certificate.
