What is the electron theory?

Every valid explanation and description is, in scientific terms, a theory. When we say “theory”, both scientific and common language refer to different concepts.

Science: “theory” = “that’s how we think it most definitely works.”

Science also has another word: “hyothesis” = “that is how we suggest it might work”

The common tongue doesn’t distinguish between “hypothesis”, and “theory” in colloquial speech. They are used interchangeably.

Science is all about “theory”, but “hypothesis”, which can be translated to “assumption”, ‘proposition” or “(yet unvalidated idea”)” in science, refers to “knowledge”.

We hope that this helps.
