Which branch is better, mechanical or electronics (though I have interest in both of them)?

It all depends on your interests.

While mechanical engineering will involve more physical parts, there will also be software simulations. To visualize things, you need to have a lot of imagination. You might also need to be proficient in complex mathematics such as Fourier, which can help you a lot. This branch might be for you.

Electronics engineering deals with complex networks, communication, and testing devices. Some of these can be extremely minute. This branch will also include software, which will be crucial. If one is interested in electronics, coding is another important area.

I’m interested in electronics and electrical engineering. My brain thinks Electronics, but my heart says Mechanical. Science is beautiful!
