You can apply for commercial driver’s licenses when you are at least 21 years old and in good physical health and of good moral character and fully competent to operate the commercial vehicle on your control, and possess a private driver’s license.

A driving permit is an official document that allows a person to operate a motorized vehicle such as a motorcycle car, truck or bus in a public road.

You are not allowed to operate any motorized vehicle on American Samoa without a valid drivers ‘ license that is issued by the commissioner of Public Safety in American Samoa.

Your Driver’s License

The drivers license that is issued is a proof of the type or category of vehicles that the licensee can use, and the license should include a unique number for the licensee.
