Apply for Bakery License in Hong Kong
- To get a bakery license applicants need to make an application with the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department.
- The application should be submitted by the submission of a standard application for (FEHB 94) and a statement of premises that are in conformity of Government lease requirements (FEHB 192) and three copies of the proposed layout plan for the property (drawn at scale in metric units) to the Assistant Secretary (Other Licences) of the Licensing Office concerned. The standard forms are available at all Licensing Offices as well as District Environmental Hygiene offices. The forms can be downloaded from website of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (link listed under the ‘Documents for use’)

- After you’ve filled out the form. Mail your completed application form to the email address listed under the “Office Locations & Contacts Section.
When the applicant is issued the letter of requirements for licensing by the Licensing Authority, he is advised to not begin any decoration work.

Requirements Information
The application must include the following information:
- The type of licence used to;
- complete address of the property in the application for a license including the name of the street and the number of the building as well as the name of the building , the flat number , etc. to prevent postal misdelivery
- the name, address of correspondence the telephone number, name and identity card number the applicant. If you are submitting a corporate entity the address and name of the company as well as the address of the home and name for the executive director or the authorized person;
- the kind of heating equipment and the kind of fuel that is to be used
- whether an air conditioning system will put in place in the store, and in the event that it is, the kind and the capacity of this installation.
